The big thing that happened in these chapters was Estella's realization of her own despicable attitude. She acknowledges the fact that she was brought up to be a heartless witch and can't love anyone. She realizes this when they make what seems to be their final visit to Miss Havisham. The old crone still plays with Estella like a doll and she just snaps.
From this point, Estella will probably end up pretending to be happy with Drummle, but not REALLY love him, break his heart, thus destroying his life, and then attempting to live her life like nothing ever happened and possibly try to, and fail, at being happy with Pip. Estella is destined to live a life of torment. She was raised to live no other way.
